One-Day Shali Tibba Trek Itinerary
Your adventure begins with an early morning drive from your hotel in Shimla to Khatnol, the base camp for the trek (approx. 2 hours). After a short briefing from your guide, you will start the 7-8 km trek. The trail winds through beautiful, dense forests, offering a refreshing experience.
After a 3-4 hour hike, you will reach the summit of Shali Tibba at an altitude of 2,872 meters. Visit the historic temple dedicated to Bhima Kali. Unwind and enjoy your packed lunch while soaking in the breathtaking 360-degree views of the Pir Panjal and Great Himalayan ranges.
After spending ample time at the peak, begin your descent back towards the Khatnol base camp. The trek downhill is quicker and takes about 2-3 hours. Upon reaching Khatnol, your vehicle will be waiting to drive you back to Shimla, marking the end of a memorable day trip.
